HDMI extender adalah alat yang berupa sepasang konverter dengan fungsi membuat kabel LAN UTP cat 5e/6 sebagai pengganti fungsi kabel HDMI. Sepasang konverter ini terdiri dari Sender (Pengirim) dan Receiver (Penerima).
